The PV panel converts sunlight into electricity. In the Quartet system, it also works with the Heat Extractor to improve efficiency, as the panel is cooled, boosting power output while contributing to the overall energy generation of the system.
The Heat Extractor cools the PV panels to boost their efficiency by up to 18%. It captures waste heat, storing it in a thermal battery for later use as additional power or hot water, maximizing energy output from the same solar installation.
The Thermal Storage Tank stores the heat captured by the Heat Extractor, keeping it ready for use. It can hold energy for several days, providing on-demand power or hot water, even when the sun isn’t shining, ensuring continuous energy availability.
The Quartet Software intelligently manages the system, optimizing heat extraction and energy storage. It adjusts in real-time to maximize efficiency, balancing power generation and storage based on demand, ensuring you get the most out of your solar installation.
The Water Out Line carries heated water from the Heat Extractor to the Storage Tank. This water, now warmed by the extracted heat, is stored for later use in generating hot water or power, maximizing the system’s efficiency.
The Water In Line brings cool water into the system, circulating it through the Heat Extractor. This cools the PV panels and absorbs heat, prepping the water for storage or immediate use in generating hot water or additional power.
